The Harmonettes in Dorothy's War
Friday 03rd June 2016
What a year it's been so far for Vintage Wedding Entertainment!
The Harmonettes have just completed a 2 month tour of 'Dorothy's War', a musical play set in WWI and written specifically for us by BAFTA nominated writer and director, Janys Chambers.
We travelled all over the country, across North Yorkshire and East Cleveland with Rural Arts, all over Shropshire and Herefordshire with Arts Alive, in and out of Wales with Night Out as well as some fab independent shows at Edgehill University and Oldham Library to name just a few. PHEW! It was epic to say the least.
We also got a lovely review from Made Up, a fantastic hub of all things arty in Liverpool - you can read it HERE. It's always nice to get a good review!
We'd also like to thank all of our audience members, who came to see our show (around 2000 in total!) Check out a little photo montage of us in action:
We're now back to performing at weddings and events across the UK and can't wait to pop our army outfits back on! We still have some availability, so if you fancy some fabulous forties and fifties entertainment to brighten up your event, please get in touch! We'd love to perform for you.
Love, The Harmonettes x
